The God, Enshrined is the forty-ninth episode of the Natsume Yuujinchou anime. It first aired on March 5, 2012. It is the tenth episode for Natsume Yuujinchou Shi, which is the fourth season of the anime.
Natsume continues his act as the god Houzukigami, so the moon splitting festival will end with his victory and the mountain will not be ruined. but the opponent Fuzukigami's servants have felt that Houzukigami is not the true god, but a human.
After finding the beast for the festival and capturing it, Natsume returns to the goal, letting him win the contest. But Fuzukigami approaches Natsume and reveals his cover and asked where Houzukigami was and what did Natsume did to him .
Natsume successfully released the god, but he is drained of all his strength. While in his sleep, Houzukigami approaches Natsume and thanking him. He reveals that in truth, he has become too weak to break the seal, let along protecting the forest from Fuzukigami's famine.
Fuzukigami and the servants on both side appeared, and he and Houzukigami agreed to end the festival. Fuzukigami told him he was leaving and asked Houzukigami to come with him, so both Fuzukigami and Houzukigami, along with their servants, will leave the mountain in peace to go somewhere else. All gives their final thanks to Hatsume before the end of the dream.
When Natsume wakes, he is still at the festival grounds, lying against Madara. Suddenly, from around him, glittery wisps of light fly up like fireflies into the sky, which is in actuality Houzukigami and Fuzukigami leaving. Natsume is able to define two of the lights as the two gods, before the episode ends...
